Recycle E-Waste at SMGH

E-Cycle Ontario is providing the opportunity for local residents to drop off old and broken electronics to be responsibly recycled at SMGH from October 25-27th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m.- dusk. A large recycling bin will be located in the far parking lot on Carrie Street; representatives from E-Cycle Ontario will be present to assist in unloading electronics from vehicles. All electronic devices will be accepted, including: televisions, computers, stereos, cellular phones, batteries, printers, cameras, ink cartridges, ipods, wires/cords and more!

This is a great opportunity for individuals to securely recycle data storage devices (such as computers) as all personal information, pictures and files will be permanently destroyed to ensure your privacy.

Pick-up services are available free-of-charge from October 18-24 for local residents whom are not able to transport electronics to SMGH during the designated drop-off times. Log onto http://www.ecycleontario.com/ in order to book a pick-up time.

Proceeds of recycling will be donated to SMGH Auxiliary in support of new medical equipment.
