The Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Hancock as the Foundation’s new CEO, effective February 3, 2025.
Michelle brings over 20 years of expertise in healthcare philanthropy and a proven track record in strategic planning, community engagement, and fundraising. Her leadership has previously transformed organizations, including the McCormick Care Foundation, where she spearheaded significant initiatives such as the Ritz Gala and innovative care projects.
Mike McGuire, Chair of the SMGH Foundation Board, expressed confidence in Michelle’s vision and collaborative leadership, which will further the Foundation’s mission to support high-quality patient care in the community.
