We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary act of generosity from Bill and Lynne Gray of Gray Ridge Egg Farms. Their record-breaking donation of $2,200,000 to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation (SMGH Foundation) has fully funded a much-needed Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner. This transformative gift will significantly enhance diagnostic capabilities and patient care at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH).

The introduction of the MRI scanner is a monumental step forward for SMGH, enabling early detection, staging, and treatment of various conditions. This advanced diagnostic tool will reduce wait times, improve access to high-quality healthcare, and support shared regional strategies with London, ultimately benefiting the Strathroy-Caradoc community and beyond.

In recognition of their exceptional contribution, the Diagnostic Imaging Department at SMGH will be renamed the Bill & Lynne Gray L.H. Gray & Son Limited Diagnostic Imaging Department. This naming honours their longstanding support and commitment to the health and well-being of our community.
